Top Ten Tuesday: Crayola Colours

Happy Tuesday! I’m happy to be back with one of my favourite features, and a fun creative prompt this week!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, with a prompt each week for you to use in building a bookish top ten list. This week’s prompt is books that sound like they could be Crayola crayon colours.

I tried to make this top ten list with just my TBR reads but this was really hard! I took some liberties with some books and I’ve got a few books I have read in the list, but some fun colours all around.

Also I did go ahead and actually make all the colours I was picturing (or as close as I could get) because I overcommit! And I love Canva, so I hope you enjoy the designs!

Last Year I Was Reading:

This is technically a Thursday meme (for Throwback Thursday) but it still works today!

I’ve been feeling a little uninspired in coming up with blog posts so I looked up some bookish memes and found this one I’m really intrigued by. I do love memes because it not only takes some of the work out of writing posts by providing a topic, but they’re fun to participate in and a great chance to meet other bloggers!

Last Year I Was Reading is hosted by Maria @ ReadingMaria. Every Thursday (or whichever day you choose), take your current read and compare it to what you were reading this exact time last year. Maria offers some questions for discussion:

  • Which one do you like better?
  • What is different about the books?
  • Any special facts/things you want to make note of or bring attention to?

WWW Wednesday: March 10, 2021

I’ve been reading a lot of books lately, even if I’m not finishing them, so it felt like the perfect time to do a reading check-in! Also, it’s been exactly a month since my last WWW Wednesday so I can see how I fared with my past current reads (oxymoron?) and next read predictions.

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and asks three important questions:

  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?
