The summer’s officially over but I’m glad it looks like the sun will be hanging around a little longer. I didn’t end up finishing my summer reading list but I have been getting to a lot of ARCs and anticipated reads. Also, I hit 500 posts this month!
Here’s what my reading month looked like! Template inspired by Jenna @ Falling Letters.
- Big Boned by Jo Watson
- Wayward Witch by Zoraida Cordova
- Within These Wicked Walls by Lauren Blackwood
- Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
- Take D Milk, Nah? by Jivesh Parasram
I’ve been reading lots and reviewing very little so how about a reading check-in?
WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and asks three important questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve been tackling a lot of ARCs recently, some I received months and months ago, so it feels good to finally be catching up! Wayward Witch by Zoraida Córdova is the third in her series about a family of brujas, this time following the third and youngest sister. I’ll have more thoughts very soon but I did really enjoy revisiting this family and getting to learn more about Rose’s powers, though I still prefer the second book.
Happy Tuesday, friends! I still have many reviews to catch up on but as I gather my thoughts and try to find some own voices’ reviews to shout out, how about some bookish memes?
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, and each week there’s a prompt for you to use in building your own bookish top ten list.
Today’s topic is a fun one about where we love to read! Some of these are better favourites than others but really I’ll read anywhere!
