Today’s post is a mix of life updates and some reading plans! Thanks to those who voted for what I should post on my Twitter poll, though I’m ignoring the winning choice of ‘mini reviews’ 😛
I don’t often set a monthly TBR but as I’m getting ready to move at the end of the month (and unfortunately can’t fit all my books in my suitcase), I’ve picked out a few books I’d like to read before I leave.
In some exciting news, my library re-opened for curbside pick-up! I’d talked about my plans for IndigAThon being a bit derailed as I was planning to read a bunch of library books but my library closed before I could pick up my holds. But over a month later, I’ve got my books!
I already read The Ghost Collector, a middle grade read with Cree representation that tackles grief and letting go, as that was a book club pick for earlier this month. Next I’m hoping to read the graphic novel series, A Girl Called Echo (also very pleased with past me who requested a lot of MG and short reads since it’s more difficult to tackle big books right now!).
Mari @ Allegedly Mari is hosting a readathon this weekend (no pressure, read as much or as little as you want!) so I’ll be joining in and seeing how many of these library books I can tackle.
In life updates, I actually started making progress on packing! I’ve figured out all my clothing now so the next difficult part is seeing if it all fits in my suitcase. And then of course narrowing down which books to bring with me. But that’s a problem for future me!
What are some of your goals for the month?
Any must-reads before the end of the year?
